The reasons for attending were numerous, but one thing is certain: The Rock Regional Business Expo is back. The region's premier business expo was held Feb. 8 for the first time in five years. The event featured more than 70 area businesses showcasing themselves, their products, and their services to more than 500 business professionals and community members. Exhibitors offered fun and engaging ways to interact at their booths and captured attention with eye-catching displays and friendly reps that offered a smile and great conversation. The Expo was an extended stay event with additions like a Retail Village to shop, a Non-Profit Nook to learn about the great work going on in our community, a Photo Studio with on-site headshots with a professional photographer, and a local food truck if you were hungry. The biggest reason to be at the Rock Regional Business Expo can be boiled down to one word: connection. Building and cultivating connection with businesses, organizations, and community members creates a powerful platform for Janesville to grow and flourish. As Kelsey Paasch, founder of Contour Consulting noted, “The Business Expo was an amazing event and worth the investment as an exhibitor. It was great to engage with current connections and generate potential new business.
