Forward Janesville - TheReport - Fourth Quarter 2020

DELIVERING UP-TO-DATE, RELIABLE RESOURCES TO OUR MEMBERSHIP DURING THE PANDEMIC WAS A TOP PRIORITY. INFORMATIVE CONFERENCE CALLS WITH LOCAL LEADERS On Tuesdays, FJI offered its members the opportunity to participate in a conference call featuring public and private leaders who provided information and an understanding of what actions to take on current, relevant topics. COVID-19 DIGEST Every Friday, FJI provided members with a COVID-19 Digest that consolidated helpful, critical information with important links in a summarized, easy-to-read, electronic format. INFORMATION SHARING Any resource, news or best practice we believe warranted immediate attention was sent as a stand-alone email and posted on FJI social media channels. PREPARING FOR YOUR REOPENING SUCCESS FJI partnered with the City of Janesville to share safety measures for businesses, including social distancing and personal protective equipment (PPE) messages. Additionally, we provided communication to Janesville residents via direct mail to encourage wearing a mask in public and accessing the City of Janesville’s Helpline and the United Way Blackhawk Region’s 2-1-1 Helpline for assistance. FUNDING INFORMATION AND ACCESS FJI partnered with Rock County to roll out its emergency loan fund and with the City of Janesville to promote stability and growth in the business community. KEY RESOURCES FJI was focused on delivering the tools and resources local businesses needed to sustain and safely reopen. Whether it was a 13-week cash flow model, an overview of loans and government assistance, coaching, or answering questions from members, FJI stood ready to be your partner throughout the pandemic.
