A Town Square Celebration! by Lindsay Cole A crowd gathered just before sunset on the evening of October 16th to celebrate the completion of Town Square and the dedication of the new east side amenities—the Cope-Ryan Pavilion, the Donor Wall, and the Blain Gilbertson Family Heritage Bridge. During the ceremony, each speaker touched on how the power of community brought this project to fruition. The evening was capped off with a flip of the switch to “Light Up the Rock,” illuminating the bridge lights for the first time. The lights on the Milwaukee Street, Court Street, and Heritage Bridges are a beacon drawing people to gather and enjoy the heart of our community for many years to come.
