• FAVORITE LOCAL HAUNT: Lark • MY FOODIE OBSESSION: Lark and Genisa (pizza & wine, anyone?) • #1 ON MY BUCKET LIST: Hike in every national park • BEST PIECE OF ADVICE I EVER RECEIVED: “It is in the doing.” So much in life is gained by taking action. Before I start something, I often have a tendency to try and convince myself of all of the reasons why I shouldn’t. Ignore all of that. Just start. The path becomes clearer as you walk it, but you never would’ve seen it if you didn’t do the thing . • WORST PIECE OF ADVICE I EVER RECEIVED: “Right now is as good as it’ll ever be.” I agree that ‘now’ is good, but things keep getting better as you go. Don’t fear the future. That wastes your energy and saps energy from the present. • FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD: Tie between my home and Iceland. I’m very much a home body, and that place is my sanctuary. I also love to travel, and Iceland has my heart because of the nature (and pastries). • WHAT ONE WORD BEST SUMMARIZES YOU? Introvert. • IF I RULED THE WORLD, EVERYONE WOULD … meditate and laugh. The two are very simple, but both have the potential to profoundly impact a given situation/life/etc.
