A few weeks back when the Forward Janesville annual membership notice came out, like any good business owner, I reflected on my experience and evaluated my return on investment. As I was reflecting, I realized I utilized my first year of membership as pure networking, which has been a great experience. Not only was my business new to Janesville, but so was I. My return on investment was connection. As I enter my 2nd year of membership, I will be focused on even more connection, while also finding additional collaborations, client attractions, and further business opportunities. No matter your business, no matter the number of employees you have (I am a solopreneur and attend each BA5 solo), and no matter where you are in your business, show up, network, have a clear intention of your annual membership and its purpose, knowing it will evolve over time.
