The camaraderie and friendships over the years and the variety of ways we serve our FJI Members. Anything over the years that stands out in your memory? It has been many years, but three things come to mind: the green jackets are a thing of the past (yay), the faces of the ambassadors have changed, and the benefits of FJI continue to grow. Best quality I always get complimented on my smile. Worst habit Randomly breaking into a song lyric out of the blue. Usually after some part of a conversation sparks a song… What I love about my work I love helping people plan meetings, celebrations, conferences, and all the other pieces surrounding a gathering, and developing itineraries for the bus tour operators from out of town. I really enjoy showing off and selling Janesville as a meeting/tour destination. I help sport tournaments as well. Always busy! The book on my bedside table I usually peel through many books, especially from my favorite authors like Lee Childs and Robert B. Parker. I am pretty sure I have read all of Robert B. Parker. Can’t miss blog or podcast I really don’t have one absolute must, but my favorites to promote are my daughter-in-law’s blog Balkanina and her podcast Mama Knows with Balkanina. Favorite local spot Too many to list! My foodie obsession Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. Number one item on my bucket list Take more vacations and travel with friends and family. Best piece of advice Believe in yourself. Favorite place in the world Wisconsin, on a lake/river and hopefully on a kayak or boat, enjoying the water, scenery, wildlife, and life. What one word best summarizes you? Happy. If I ruled the world, everyone would … Get whatever type of support they needed to live their best life.
